CARMAX成立於2002年，為和泰汽車轉投資之汽車用品公司，亦為台灣唯一豐田授權之正廠用品公司。
CARMAX主要執行TOYOTA及LEXUS兩大品牌之汽車用品設計、研發、企劃及銷售、服務，同時亦配合國瑞汽車整車輸出中東六國業務，進行用品之設計，以及汽車售後服務用品的銷售等業務。近年，CARMAX持續拓展海外市場，2011年成立凱美士汽車科技 (上海) 有限公司、2012年成立廣州廣汽商貿長和汽車科技有限公司。2012年日本豐田旗下用品公司 J-TACS (現為TOYOTA CUSTOMIZING & DEVELOPMENT) 投資入股，加速CARMAX全球市場佈局。
2015年投資興聯科技 (股) 公司、2020年與和泰汽車、荷蘭商GARMIN合資成立車隼科技 (股) 公司。透過資源整合，持續提供TOYOTA及LEXUS 兩大品牌高品質的汽車用品。

Established in 2002 as a subsidiary of HOTAI Motor Corporation, CARMAX focuses on the sales of automotive accessories. We are also the only authorized provider of TOYOTA Genuine Accessories in Taiwan.
CARMAX primarily focuses on the design, R&D, planning, distribution, and after-sales service of automotive accessories for the two major brands, TOYOTA and LEXUS. Additionally, CARMAX handles accessory design and sales of after-sales service products for export to GCC countries by KUOZUI Motors. In recent years, we have expanded our footprint in international markets. In 2011, CARMAX Auto Tech (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was established, followed by Guangzhou GAC CHANGHE Auto Tech Corporation in 2012. In 2012, J-TACS (now TOYOTA Customizing & Development), a subsidiary of TOYOTA Motor Corporation, Japan, became a shareholder in CARMAX, fast-tracking the development of our global market presence.
In 2015, we invested in Smart Design Technology, and in 2020, we co-founded Auto Intelligent Mobility Co., Ltd. alongside HOTAI Motor and the Dutch company GARMIN. By consolidating our resources, we aim to provide high-quality automotive accessories for TOYOTA and LEXUS.
