WELCOME TO CARMAX

Founded in 2002, CARMAX is a subsidiary of HOTAI Motor Corporation, the leading automobile accessories seller and the only provider of TOYOTA Genuine Accessories in Taiwan. Major operation of CARMAX includes design, research, development, planning, distributing, and after-sales services for TOYOTA and LEXUS vehicles. Apart from the above-mentioned operations, CARMAX also conducts product design, centralized installation and after-sales services for vehicles, which are produced and exported to GCC countries by KUOZUI Motors.

CARMAX has been actively expanding in foreign automobile product markets in recent years. In 2011, CARMAX Auto Tech (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was established, while in 2012, the Company founded Guangzhou GAC Business Changho Autotech Corporation, with co-investment from Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd.

In 2012, J-TACS (now TOYOTA Customizing & Development, or TCD), a subsidiary of  TOYOTA Motor Corporation, Japan, became a shareholder of CARMAX. This greatly enhanced the company’s ability to expand into the global market.

In 2015, investments in Smart Design Technology were made, and in 2020, Carmax co-founded the Auto Intelligent Mobility Co., Ltd. alongside HOTAI Motor and GARMIN. By consolidating resources between various companies and subsidiaries, we will continue to provide high quality accessories for TOYOTA and LEXUS automobiles. We strive to be the top-notch automobile accessories company and build a global supply chain in the near future.
