Blind Spot Monitor (BSM)
Millimeter wave radar technology enables the detection of objects behind the vehicle. When a vehicle enters the blind spot, the indicator light on the A-pillar or rearview mirror remains bright. When the turn signal is activated, the light starts to flash, alerting the driver to check for vehicles in the blind spot while changing lanes to prevent collisions.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) System
Radar technology detects blind spots behind the vehicle. When reversing, if a vehicle enters the detection area, a safety alert—either a symbol or sound—appears on the rearview mirror, enhancing driver safety. Indicator light location: Left and right A-pillars/lens type (The design varies slightly from model to model).
